Online Livestreamed Screening Program

Description

QWOCMAP is celebrating Pacific Islander & Asian Heritage Month with a FREE virtual screening program of short films on Saturday, May 16 at 7:00pm PST!

The entire screening program will be livestreamed online, and we'll have a live, interactive filmmaker Q&A at the end of the screening. This event will not be recorded, so be sure to join us promptly at 7pm!

QWOCMAP's Queer Pacific Islander & Asian Film Screening honors an abundance of beautiful and spectacularly human stories, from sweet dinner dates to healing rituals to interviews with trans bisexual elders. We are delighted to feature Ka Mana O Ke Ola by Native Hawaiian filmmaker Megan Kaleipumehana Cabral, a short film about a young woman mourning and finding life by sailing a letter to her father.

We respectfully request that you do not share the screening program link. Instead, please share the free ticket registration link with your friends and family: https://bit.ly/queerAPIfilms

ACCESS NOTE: Half of the films have open captions for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing. The other half of these films are from the QWOCMAP vault, and do not have open captions.
